Located in Bluffton, South Carolina near the May River, The Haven is close to Palmetto Bluff and Old Town Bluffton. A vibrant arts community and a lively restaurant scene make Old Town Bluffton a great place to go. The area was originally settled by Native Americans who thrived on the plentiful shrimp, oysters, fish, and wildlife. In the early and mid-19th century, Bluffton became a favorite site for summer homes of wealthy plantation owners who were lured by the breezes on the scenic bluffs overlooking the May River. Several antebellum homes and churches still stand today, reminders of Bluffton's past.
