There are many opportunities for health and wellness at The Haven. The Retreat features a state-of-the art workout facility and men’s and women’s locker rooms. Take advantage of the treadmills, elliptical machines, exercise bikes and free weights while you enjoy a gorgeous view of the community through floor to ceiling windows.
We make staying active easy with various fitness classes, including aqua aerobics (Spring and Summer), stabilisculpt, yoga, and Zumba. Certified instructors are available to help you design a work out program specifically for you. All classes are $6.00 per class. Discounted fitness coupon books are also available.
Barre is low impact strengthening and stretching for the whole body, using pulsing and lengthening movements to tighten and tone muscle into a long and lean body.
Barre is held every Tuesday at 12:00pm in The Retreat.
Yoga has been practiced for more than 5,000 years, and currently, close to 11 million Americans are enjoying its health benefits. Yoga brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve peacefulness of body and mind, helping you relax and manage stress and anxiety. Yoga for seniors has been shown to help reverse the aging process and has multiple health benefits including: sleeping difficulties, strength/arthritis, diabetes, hypertension, excess weight, mood/anxiety, chronic pain, and lung problems.
Yoga is held every Tuesday and Thursday at 9am, and Wednesday at 6pm in The Retreat.
Zumba® Gold let's you groove at your own pace! With this easy to follow program, you are free to move at your own speed. It's an invigorating community-oriented dance-fitness class that feels fresh and most of all, exhilarating Zumba Gold provides modified, low-impact moves and easy to follow pacing for a healthy, active lifestyle. Join the party!
Zumba Gold is held every Monday at 10:30am and every other Thursday at 2:30pm in The Retreat.
